As part of the 26.06 Oracle Cloud EPM release in June 2026, Oracle have added scaling and precision settings for Oracle IPM insights! This is a welcome feature, meaning administrators have more control over how data is presented in their Oracle IPM insights description, graph and data grid.
The scaling can be applied using the Apply Scaling (K, M, B, T) to values displayed in Oracle IPM Insights toggle. By default, this will be enabled and will apply scaling based on the magnitude of insight values.
There are also custom scaling options which can be applied using predefined UDAs on the Account dimension, as below:
HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_K HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_M HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_B HSP_DISPLAY_SCALE_T
The precision settings are similar to the settings in forms, which allows administrators to set the minimum and maximum precision setting for Currency, Non-Currency and Percentage values independently.
