looking after our world
no grand statements – we just do the right thing when it comes to the use of resources, dealing with people, charitable giving and looking after our world
Brovanture’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy sets out our approach to sustainability, charitable giving and the environment for the benefit of our employees, customers, local community, suppliers and the wider world. The statement is made up of 4 areas:
Charity – Brovanture has supported 2 charities for many years:
Fair Trade Goods – Wherever possible Brovanture always purchases goods baring the Fair Trade logo for use within our offices. Fair Trade is a foundation whose stated goal is to help producers in developing countries achieve better trading conditions.
Recycling – Brovanture actively encourages all employees to recycle as many items as possible throughout the workday. Both Brovanture offices (the HQ in Guildford and office in Manchester) have multiple recycling points.
Buying and Supporting Local Suppliers – Wherever possible Brovanture will always purchase goods and services from local suppliers, to support our local economy and communities.
Brovanture believes we have a responsibility as a corporate citizen to pay our fair share of taxes, including corporate income taxes, employment taxes, social contributions, property taxes, import and customs duties, and indirect taxes. We are located in, and trade from, the United Kingdom where we comply with and pay all appropriate taxes.
Brovanture has a zero tolerance policy towards modern slavery. We will not enter into business and will discontinue any current business with any organisation which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour. We understand and adere to the responsibilities laid out in the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking within our own businesses and in its supply chains. Brovanture understands that this requires an ongoing review of both its internal practices in relation to its labour force and its supply chain.
Our employees are offered a competitive remuneration package and Brovanture prides itself on the additional benefits it is able to offer to its employees. Brovanture staff are encouraged, at all times, to speak out on any issue, including Modern Slavery if they feel the company is not operating in a lawful or ethical way.
