Brovanture Oracle Ace

Brovanture Senior Consultant Lydia Maksoud Oracle ACEs it!

Malcolm Brock
Managing Director

Yet more great news about the Brovanture team and specifically for our longstanding team member Lydia Maksoud who has been officially awarded Oracle ACE Associate status. Congratulation Lydia!

The Oracle ACE Program is a worldwide advocacy recognition program which rewards and promotes individuals for their personal contributions to the Oracle community. Oracle describes ACEs in this way: “Many ACEs are technically proficient and share their knowledge and experiences through at least one of the following activities: giving presentations; writing blog posts, books, and articles; creating video tutorials; contributing to open-source projects; sharing their knowledge on social media; writing code; answering questions in community forums like Stack Overflow; and more.”

Lydia has been active for many years sharing her knowledge and ideas on Hyperion and Oracle Cloud EPM through her own blog and via the Brovanture blog. Feedspot places her personal blog as number 12 in the top 25 Oracle EPM blogs worldwide.

She has also presented several times at conferences for ODTUG (KScope) in the USA and UKOUG (Annual Conference) in the UK. In 2019 Lydia won top speaker award for EPM Data Integration track at KScope19 and presented two sessions at Kscope23 in 2023.  In 2023 Lydia is scheduled to present one session at the UKOUG Annual Conference.

Lydia wrote about her early career with Brovanture in a blog and since that time has progressed to be a senior consultant taking the lead on many of our major projects. She has worked across a wide range of sectors including government, telecoms and business services and with multiple Oracle Cloud EPM products – planning, consolidation and close and account reconciliations.

On personal note Lydia lives in the South of London, where she enjoys a good pub and eating out and then takes to hiking, running and paddleboarding to work off the calories! She is a member of her local running club @friendlyrunningclub. Travelling features very much in Lydia’s spare time with 4 trips already planned for 2024 and a Christmas market in Belgium before the end of 2023.

Again, congratulations to Lydia from all of us at Brovanture.

Until next time.

Malcolm
